The focaccia was great, especially the one with cheese, honey & carmalized onions. The mortadella with straciatella was lacking a bit of straciatella and fresh pistacchios to reach 5 stars. The place is busy, serving takes about 10-15 minutes.

L’ammiraglio was a disappointment, it was dry, not enough cheese, the pistachio sauce was tasteless. Baaria was delicious, we loved the crispy onion, the cheese and that it was warm. It’s a busy street and some waiting time, but they serve nicely temperatured wine although it’s a fast food type of place.

This was my favorite sandwich of my entire almost three week trip. Unfortunately I came here first (and I came back several times) so I was disappointed in all the other sandwiches on my trip. Highly recommend. Quick service, great combinations, affordable, very very good.

We loved this place so much, we came twice during our stay in Palermo! The sandwiches are amazing – made with warm, crispy focaccia bread that’s just the right amount of crunchy on the outside and soft inside.
